    Alliant powder going up

Its the California way of thinking. In the 70's the oil companies we gobbling each other up. Exxon bought mobil, BP bought AR, etc. First order of business was they shut down the refineries of the companies they bought. This greatly reduced supply but demand only increased and prices soared...

    Alliant powder going up

Funny how a foreign company can make the finest powders on earth, ship them across the atlantic, and pay import taxes and still sell cheaper than powder made here.. Friend picked up some powder tonight. A new shipment of powder had just arrived. $60 and up.

    Alliant powder going up

Its also Vista outdoors and Hodgdon monopolizing the powder industry. I have completely left them both for better quality and cheaper powders and wont go back. The American people must like taking it up the wazoo because they keep electing these communists

    Powder Dispensers?

There are seals on each side of the hopper around the tube. When they get worn, the smaller ball powders will get past them and bind up the tube. You will hear the motor really laboring to turn it. If you take it apart you will se them. Not hard to change but annoying. My RCBS has never had an...

It does very well indeed. It just wouldnt remove the hard packed carbon for me. The one bore cleaner I keep and always go back to after trying others in Flitz liquid polish/bore cleaner. It removes the hard packed bore carbon better than anything ive used and use Iosso to removed any carbon ring...

Reloading for the new Marlin 1894 .44--or .357 .41 mag. in Winchesters etc.

Recently bought a new Henry 357 Mag. It had the worst bore Ive ever seen on a new factory rifle. It went back to the factory for a new one and came back with an awesome bore. Looked like someone shot a handful of nails thru it.. Its a tack driver now.

JB is still around but I dont use it. Too messy and hard to get out. I use Iosso bore paste to remove carbon rings and any stubborn carbon in the bore. I remove copper with Wipe Out Patch Out. Works very well and also removes any remaining carbon. I tested Numerous cleaners and narrowed it to...

This turned into a bit more than expected. Had to inlet barrel channel as barrel was touching stock when screws were torqued. Had to inlet rear tang to get safety to move. When rear screw was torqued safety was binding against stock. All ready to be zeroed in.
