I tried that originally, it only seems to let me alter the title.

I can't seem to edit the original post, but I was incorrect about the lead bullets. I thought I had them but I do not. If it really matters, I will through in some equivalent 357 bullets. I used to load them for my maximum and they are very precise performers at distance.

Time to move a few guns to a better home. I've had this Bisley for a few years and just don't use it. Less than 100 rounds through it for sure. It is factory except for the 2 Dogs front sight which is an improvement for any Ruger. $900 shipped to your FFL. Prefer check or MO, but will wait to...

I have a bunch of reloading books and have looked on line as well. Just looking for any more info that I can get, as powder choices around me are pretty limiting right now.

I'm well aware of the Marine Corps trials. It was a huge failure. A good friend of mine was heavily involved in it and what you think you know about it is most likely incorrect. They were coming from an old Kimber at the time, and there is more to why they wanted a 1911 than actual unbiased...

Kevin, Yeah, 14 hours is a long day in the car. I need to get down to Dallas for some shooting with some friends too. Only 8 hrs but still a long day. I'm sure its worth it, but I'm just not up for 28 hrs of driving for a day in between.

Do you guys have any favorite powders that work for these cartridges? I'm trying to stock as few powders as possible, rather than a different one for every cartridge.

This sounds like a great time, does anyone do anything like this in the midwest?
