I removed the takedown screw and centered the safety. But there seems like it does not want to move at all.

Bought a brand new 4935 Takedown. I have tried to separate the Receiver from the buttstock and have followed the instruction to no avail. I removed the takedown screen but it still will not separate. It's like something else is holding it in place. Any ideas on how to would be greatly...
