The majority of the shells out of my 357 revolvers are 38 specials. I save the 357s for real work, like that happens very often, and save the money to buy more ammo... I do clean the cylinders a little extra when I do clean my revolvers.

I have "worked on" all of my SPs, GPs, Redhawks and Super Redhawks. Fine tuning the trigger and hammer assembly makes them shoot so much smoother. Rugers are awesome revolvers, but a little "tune up" does wonders for them.

I THOUGHT I had an older MK I, but it turns out to be a 1972 model. It's way younger than me. :cry:

I have 2 41 mag Blackhawks, one OM and a NM as well as a few other models and brands. If the gun is in decent shape and you like the 41, buy it!!! They will only go up in price and you will have the pleasure of shooting a fine gun.

I have shot several Ruger Sixes, Sp101s, GP100s, Redhawks, Blackhawks and found them to be more accurate than I am. And I have shot several S&W models of several calibers and found them to be the same way. For a real comparison, you would need to pick a couple of guns and compare them yourself...
