Mine has a 2.75" barrel. Changing the front sight out was a bit intimidating for me too but I dove in and watched a few youtube videos. Drilling from both sides to meet in the middle was the clue that made it easy. I looked for the BigDot XS sight but at that time they just were not obtainable...

Any holster that fits a S&W K frame with a 3" barrel will fit a Six with the 2.75" barrel. I went with a Bianchi Cyclone.

I've been on the lookout for a set of Altamont grips to fit a S&W 422/622/2206.

Both tough as nails...

The S&W K size from Bianchi (Cyclone) fit mine quite well also.

I'm surprised by how well regulated the fixed sights are on the Police Service Six's.
