Update, took it out shooting today. Run 50 rds. factory jacketed to sight in. Then had 30 rds. of reloads with swc and 2 different amounts of unique powder. Reloads shot well, no significant leading so guess the tight throats are not going to be a problem. Shoots nice. Loading gate a bugger to...

Did some more checking today. If throats are to tight on my Blackhawk, they are to tight on my 686 plus S&W also. Won't go through it either. Loaded up 30 rds. today and will give them a try tomorrow. Triker

Anyone have this issue with their 357 Blackhawk? I just got my new one home and was checking throats with a coated 358 lead swc. Will not go through without real force. Haven't shot it yet, so will load some up and see what happens. If get a lot of leading, will have to send to Doug Guy to work...

Am loading Missouri Bullet Co. ,158 gr., coated SWC in my 357 with brinnel hardness 12. Target loads. I don't need a grease groove being coated. Any difference in shooting smooth sided vs. one with groove? Triker
