    How do i repair a RSS5 box?

Here's how I would do it: Find some suitable cardboard of similar thickness as the original box. This sort of material is not all the same...find some that does not tear easily. Cut sections that fold and fit the inside corners precisely. If repairing more than one corner, be sure all your...

Slide Stuck On ec9s. Without Barrel And Recoil Spring.

Yeah, I was going to say just pull the trigger. That's the drill to release the slide on a number of modern semi-autos.

    Looking at a KP95PR

Yes, Ruger still provides parts and service for the P95. Magazines and springs are readily available in several places: Ruger, Ebay, Gunbroker, Wolff Gunsprings, etc. Additionally, complete parts kits are often available on GunBroker, and sometimes on Ebay.

Help with deciding on used P85

I have a P85 MK II stainless that I really like. Never a single issue of any kind with it. I had, and traded, a P85 way back when they first hit the market. No problems with that one either. I thought about that gun off and on over the years, and decided I had to have another one. Very rugged...

New (to me) Ruger P95 and Sig P239...

Those folks would be wrong, blume. If they would just go to Ruger's website and check "Customer Service", then "Parts & Service", they would see a list of guns no longer supported. Discontinued does not automatically equate to not supported. Note: the Service Dept. does ask you to call on the...

Mark IV: (or any Mk) How long do extractors typically last?

Personally, I've never had to replace an extractor or a FP in 7 MK IIs and 4 MK IIIs. Not sure how many rounds have been through the guns, but certainly many, many thousands and they all work more or less flawlessly. We have friends and family out to our place often and the MKs are popular for...

    Looking for Mark ll Parts

Keep your eyes pealed on Ebay. I see MK II parts there routinely. I'd also watch Gunbroker. Search "Ruger Parts Kits" under the "Gun Parts" category. I see MK II kits there from time-to-time. Of course, also search "Ruger MK II" under the same category. You'll often get different results, as...

    Recall on a P85

If the price is right, heck yeah...I'd buy it! I have a P85 MK II and it's a great, unfailingly reliable pistol. And I'd probably just keep it stock and shoot it, but that's me. Better advice is check with Ruger and see what they say. It's probably an easy process and quick turnaround.

    Is this a known MK2 22/45 problem?

The MK IIs do have a firing pin stop (Ruger part # A03500...KA03500 if stainless) that is specifically meant to prevent chamber-edge marring. Now, if that part is missing, bent, or broken, that could be a potential problem. And even if the FP stop is working properly, I would not recommend...

    Walnut stock 10/22

Ruger still offers the 10/22 Sporter model in walnut according to the spec sheet below. Heck, I was thinking that they've always offered a high-end 10/22 (Deluxe Sporter? ...now just Sporter) as an alternative to the standard Carbine. But, then again, I don't claim any special 10/22 expertise...

    P95 help requested...'Safety'/'Decocker' slide swap?

Blume, I haven't received the DC slide assembly yet to try, but back in Sept. 2013 roylt found he could get the Safe frame to work fine with the DC top end (recall the link he provided, of which you were a part?... http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=187765&hilit=p95).
