    Christmas shopping from my couch

    New Henry Side Gate models

    A friend of mine owns two and likes them. I’ve fired them a few times and they’re very nice rifles, likely the best their is in a contemporary lever gun- at least until Marlin returns to their glory (fingers crossed).

    Gun Deer season , what are you using ?

    I use two deer rifles depending on where I am. An old Remington Mode 8 in .35 Rem with open sights when I’m in the woods and an early German Weatherby Mk V in .270 Wby with a Redfield scope when Im in a place for longer shots.

    Tulsa Gun Show Canceled.

    That’s too bad- that’s a hell of a gun show. I’ve been twice and was amazed both times, lots to see! Hopefully April’s show goes off as scheduled.
