Back in the late 1980s, Ruger did a special run of New Model Single Sixes for Davidson's in three different barrel lengths, 4 5/8", 5 1/2", and 6 1/2". These guns were to be limited to @ 500 guns in each barrel length, and "are the only Classic Single Revolvers ever produced with the improved transfer bar safety system". These guns feature the old style drift sight type frames (classic) from the early three screw Single Six revolvers. They are all convertibles.
This is your chance to own one, two, or all three variations. Each gun is the complete mint package, including a copy of the letter from J. Thompson at Ruger marketing to Bryan Tucker, V.P. at Davidson's West describing the guns to be made, thus showing the provenance. None have ever even been cocked or turned since leaving the factory.
I am offering these for the price of $700 each plus shipping. If you buy all three, I will pay the shipping.
More photos on request.
