I was told this super Wrangler only 1000 built. Is that true?

Based on how many are for sale, all bet they made a whole lot of them.

So disappointed in the finish on mine. I swear it's the same as the cheap Heritage revolvers. Like a bad spray paint job. I have more Wranglers than I care to admit. This one really disappointed. Anyone else get a bad finish on their model 2060?

Just paid $285 out the door in Marion NC
BEFORE adjusting elevator, LOOK at the 3 shot group in BLACK CIRCLE at 25 yards shot off of a sand bag. Cheap 25 year old Remington bulk golden bullets.

Maybe I scored a really good one as it will outshoot the old 6 1/2" Old Model Super Single Six. Amazing bargain gun in spite of cheap finish.
Y'all have a great weekend. Bo

In hand, it is easy to discern the frame is coated to look like brass.

But, what does one expect when the entire gun costs less than a genuine brass frame?
My goal with my question is that I am trying to find a way to make an aluminum grip frame look like brass. Why not just use brass? I want to keep the weight down.

I will admit- I'm a die-hard proponent of the Single Six, especially the OM guns. But the draw to a Super Wrangler is the cost- it would be a great truck gun. Maybe some day I'll succumb. I already had a silver/black Wrangler and gave it to my son-in-law for my Grandson. Now if it was all black…I might still have it.

No doubt. That would be a heck of a deal!

That picture Moparclan posted looks beautiful-

I've got some aluminum grip frames from Ronnie Wells and I'd like to get them to look like brass, if possible. I'm not too optimistic though…

Nobody's talked about anodized metal and what it might look like in brass color. I looked at RW's brass grip frame for my Super Wrangler, but too rich for me.

I take it back. Moparclan spoke/picture of anodized trigger guard.
