Just came back from a local hardware after getting 500 Hornady XTP .430" bullets($0.30 ea.), and #1, 2and 11 shell holders for a Lee Bench Primer. I'll always buy at a local brick & mortar over online anyday. Paid cash, no ID required, and walked out with the product in hand. No concern over porch pirates.

Kudos to you! Supporting your local retailer is the only way to help ensure that they'll continue to carry that type of merchandise.

I live in a regional population center (50K+), but there's not a good gun shop other than a few "kitchen table" type FFLs.

Around my place you have to go to a sporting goods or "big box" farm store, like Bomgaars or Mills Fleet Farm. Hardware stores here have virtually nothing shooting related… not even a box of .22LR!l 🤬

When you get "up North" in my state, the hardware stores tend to carry some staples for shooting.
