Any idea what it's worth? Supposed to be from the 80s.

It's from 73 or before.
What's the serial number?
What other stuff comes with it?

Completed auctions on GunBroker is always a good guide for current pricing.

It's from 1968-1972 if the grips are right. It looks a little rough but probably a nice shooter. I'd probably offer $400 to start off if it's a local sale. Then because it's a little beat, I'd do some customizing with it. Don't forget, shipping and dealer fees add to the price if it's not local

Love me some .30 carbine

The pictures are a little grainy,, but I see a fairly good looking gun. It does show some wear & such in a few places. The gun doesn't appear to be converted,, and I don't even think a "bubba" has had it apart. The screws look as if nobody has hit them with an improper screwdriver.
Since he's asking $600,, I'd be of the mind to see if he'd take $500. You can negotiate.

The RENE Guide says a mint condition (as new) where the serial number does not have a prefix,, is worth $730.00 while a prefixed one is worth $645.00.
