Do any of you have experience with RJ Renner? I would like to hear what you had done and how it worked out. I've seen his ads on GunsInternational before and they seem intriguing.

It seems like an interesting thing to do with a spare M77 or No. 3...

Hi Looks like they do awesome work but I think a lot of money to invest for the average guy I don't think you could ever recoup your investment

I agree - this wouldn't be about recouping an investment. But I bet I'm not alone on this forum as being a guy that has a spare Ruger rifle around that he doesn't do anything with. If you can take something unused (but well liked) from the back of the safe and turn it into something pretty cool for less than the price of a decent wood-stocked rifle, that seems pretty interesting to me.

Plus it would be good for me to do something like this before my eyes get too old for open sights...
