Turned onto his Music for Native Americans album by a co-worker. I bought my own copy of it, plus Storyville, Contact from the Underworld, How to Become Clairvoyant and his own self titled Robbie Robertson album. Communicated with his cousin years ago. She played a 7-string guitar. I play Robbie's CD's at home and in my truck all the time. I got all mysty when I saw the news. He made my life happier. Thank you for that Robbie. May you RIP.
Robbie was also lead guitarist for Bob Dylan and The Band (Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, etc.)
Still playing your music after all these years...Many of us have listened to some of your music without knowing it. Robbie composed, played, arranged, produced music for many movies as well. Raging Bull, The Color of Money, the Irishman, the King of Comedy, TV episode of TRue Blood and so many more. Personally, I go back to Music for Native Americans, I think his best
