Thought of younger days yesterday while sitting in doctors office getting diagnosis on a torn bicep muscle.
Didn't realize a very young Elton John wrote this song.

Great song, covered by many, maybe dozens of musicians.

The version I most remember is by Roy Clark, but I also very much remember the Glen Campbell version.

So ironic, my next younger brother & I just finished a 6 hour pow wow of trials, tails & challenges, even catching up on gossip. Me nearing 71, him just turning 65 & has a few more problems than me. A lot of things discussed, what health or physical problems we caused for our selves & the general age related things.
No regrets now & try to shrug it all off, laugh about the reality of getting old & moving on if we can .

My fridge was full of cold ones when we started, now, where did they go? Guess we still have a few sessions left in us..

OTOH, have to add one more tune.

I agree Wayno, the Roy Clark one is the one I remember very much. Seems like just the other day it used to play on the radio. Great song!
