John Linebaugh passed a year ago today.

I find it hard to believe a year has gone by.

Dustin told me today he washed the old 86 truck up for the ride into the Irma this evening to get together with family and friends. Thanks for being there for Dustin, Cole and the rest of the family.

When you are in Cody, stop outside the Irma Hotel & Restaurant and have a seat below the window where John Linebaugh had breakfast most Sunday mornings.

I would look for a local carpenter to see if they would build one.

While I never met him,, or anything like that,, I always heard nothing but good about him. And having shot a few of his guns,, I can attest to his talents.
And I recall hearing the news,, thinking; "Wow,, that's tough,, and way too soon!"

Seeing these pictures of the service,, all that comes to mind is; "That's totally fitting for him!"

You're quite welcome. I was born in Cheyenne and lived out on Buffalo Ridge as a young'n. My next-to-youngest daughter lives in Cody and her great grandmother owned the Bell Ranch there. (I don't know if it got passed down through the family to her mom or not) John has always been admired and respected in Cody. One very fine man indeed.
