Im getting close to my scope mount being done.Takes a little work using angle grinder ,, belt sander,, 10 in. Drill bress,, dremmel and hand tools.Ive got a long rail coming that way i can extend it on out to that divetail filler d&t the dove tail blsnk and screw the rail to it.Kinda proud of my self with justvthe tools mentioned.

Starting to look good, would definitely add that front screw.
A couple of thoughts on aesthetics from some years of making crap.
Maybe do a 45 deg. bevel about .050 wide around all the outside edges and get the radius
on all the outside corners as uniform as possible.
Might also want to think about sourcing some screws with heads matching the ones in the gun.
And then try to color match it somehow.
