Has anyone used trigger and or bolt shims to get better accuracy from 77/44.

If so what thicknesses did you need. I realize that is a tough question.

I didn't use any shims on my 77/357, I just followed the readily available information about polishing surfaces, and changing one engagement angle. I wound up with a trigger that was a bit too light for my application and comfort level, once it was worn in, and had to redo it (10 minute job). I didn't see any merit to shims in the disassembly/reassembly process.

Is there suggestions as to that mod anywhere on the net, youtube??

I don't want to get around to any drastic stoning of surfaces.

Why not give the timney or voltquartsen sear. The same ones for the 77/22's work on the 77/44 and 77/357 and its a simple drop in. Then you always have your original unaltered parts to put back in if you want.

I done that and it reduced the trigger pull not as much as Id liked but better.

The installation is about a 3 min job.
