I recently bought a 9" barrel 22lr AR platform 'pistol upper' at a very attractive price. Today, I had a chance to zero the red dot and see if it was suitably accurate. Cheap dot optics are often twitchy with adjustments and even the SigSauer was a bit hitchy but I got it dialed in with 10-12 shots. A bit of rain was approaching so I called it good enough and sent the last 6 shots toward the 8" 100 yard swinger. Six for six with a 3 MOA dot and a bit of gusting wind is not bad if I do say so myself. 
I think the little dude has potential especially if I reallocate a muffler to it. Possibly good enough to spend another $100 for a folding arm brace.
