    LC9s safety

Same here. If I need the gun I don't want to have to fumble with turning the safety off in a crisis moment. Every second counts. And don't carry my LC9 Pro anymore. I now carry a Walthers PPQ which also comes without a safety switch.

    9:00 PM Deliveries?

You need to install a mail box at the main road for deliveries. Make it a big one.

    Looks like I'll slim down

Healthy Choice Steamers are good and only cost $2.50 each. I stock up the chest freezer with these. They come in a lot of varieties and can be ready to eat in under 5 minutes. They are heart-healthy too. I lost 25 lbs in the last few months by only eating half of these during each meal and...

Can a Ruger LC9s shoot the NOVX ARK or RNP ammo?

--------------------------------------------------------- The first thing you want to make sure of is the bullet feeding properly from the magazine. I own the Ruger LC9S Pro semi-automatic 9 mm pistol and have found that bullets like the Hornady Critical Duty and Critical Defense don't feed...

    That damn Ruger pin

I agree with you 100% about the little takedown pin that Ruger uses in the LC9S Pro which I own. It's a real pain to take the slide off. I have to get that slide back just a wee bit in order to get the pin to push out. PITA. Why can't they make the gun like a Walther or a Glock which are...

    lc9s

Interesting as I have the LC9S Pro version of this pistol and have not noticed that problem in my gun. I just stopped carrying my Ruger LC9S Pro and switched to a Walther PPQ SC now. I'll check the guide rod on the Ruger to see if it's bent or crooked or straight. The new Walther PPQ SC is...

    lc9s

The LC9S Pro does have a safety. It's called your trigger finger and your brain. Exercising proper trigger control with the LC9S Pro is my manual safety. :). The LC9S Pro is my EDC gun. I'm looking at a Walter's PPQ as a carry gun as Walthers has a smaller version of the PPQ that I'd like...

    Ruger LC9S Pro

buy it. This is my carry gun. Love the trigger and how well it shoots accurately.

    That damn Ruger pin

I agree with you about that pin. It's hard to rack the slide and get the pin in the proper position while also pushing the pin out of the hole. I have a Walter's PPQ M2 4" 9 mm semiauto and it's very easy to take apart without any tools. I sure wish that Ruger would make a gun that was...

    LC9S

This thread is about the LC9S Ruger Pistol. It's not about other pistols so I won't talk about other Ruger Pistols. It's confusing when people talk about other pistols in this thread that are not like the LC9S Pistol. The OP wants to know if anyone else with the LC9S pistol gets their fingers...

    LC9S

There is nothing wrong with the trigger on the LC9S or the LC9S Pro. Both have excellent triggers.

I May Have To Retire My LC9S - It's Not Dependable

Conservative: Did you do an initial cleaning and lubing of the gun before taking it out to the shooting range? You mentioned several different types of ammo that you used in the gun. But you failed to mention which ammo you were using when the gun failed? I've written about certain Hornady...

    LC9s Pro Fail to Feed

----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Different shaped bullets will cause this problem. Blazer Brass 115 gr 9 mm FMJ type bullets feed great in the Ruger LC9S Pro Semi-automatic 9 mm. Flexlock Hornady Critical Duty 9 mm Luger +P 135 gr. bullets will...

    Belts

I wear the Alien Gear Belts or the 5.11 belt as they are thicker and hold my pants/holster/gun much better than the thin regular belts. These belts also have metal between the leather to stiffen the belt more.

    The Carbonaro Effect

I've seen the show and enjoy the looks on the people's faces. I think it's a funny show. Do I think it's all real and that none of it is staged? No. But it's fun for TV. I watch it once in a while when there is nothing else on TV. I won't hang my hat on that show but will watch it for a few...
