    SP101 22rf pull

The single action trigger is fine by me but the double action pull is the issue. I'm wanting to work with the grandchildren using this revolver and I know they won't have the strength yet.

    SP101 22rf pull

Excellent input Contender, I’ll go that route first.

    SP101 22rf pull

I'm thinking about taking it apart and cleaning, polishing things up, I'm sure there is room for smoothing. I am going to order a shim kit for the trigger and hammer as well there's room for improvement there. While I'm at it I'll probably go ahead and do some springs as well. I'm leery of...

    SP101 22rf pull

In my recent dealings I traded for (stated by owner and I believe him) an unfired SP101 in 22 rimfire. Back home and cleaning and getting ready to shoot it does look brand new. I did find that the pull to cock the hammer and the double action pull is very heavy. The trigger pull from single...

    Belt Mountain Base Pin

Is the Belt Mountain base pin worth it? I suppose this is an opinion poll, I'd like to know what you think after you installed (or had one installed).

    Ruger SA Production Schedule

Well some stuff must be getting through, here in Boise Idaho I found a 45 Bisley in stainless with the extra 45 ACP cylinder. The price was full bore MSRP but I actually found it three times (three different stores) and one of them was $98 less.

Okay folks, the response has been wonderful and I'm now out a month on buying! If you want to make me an offer feel free to do so but as I say, with my limited funds I can only do so much a week, I'm committed until the end of March.

    45 A.C.P. Brass primer size

I'm trying to remember what I did when I was reloading it (not easy for over 50). I only have had two 45 acp pistols in my time and the last one was 12 years ago, maybe more... I'm a fan of the LP myself.

    New to reloading, .454Casull, .45Colt, .45ACP

Yes, to second what has been stated, less pressure with the cast. One question you might look into is case volume. Are you using fairly small powder charges in those big cases? If so you might want to look into some dacron wadding. I did this for 45/70 light loads, solved ignition and accuracy...

    45 A.C.P. Brass primer size

Forgive me if I'm beating a dead horse. I'm a long time reloader but I can't say I've reloaded as much 45 acp as some and i don't remember if I ever sorted for large/small primer pocket. Since I've been on a hiatus of sorts from reloading and having to replace everything I'm buying some brass...

    WTB Firearms Literature/Magazine

If you have firearms literature or magazines taking up space and you're considering throwing them out, consider me! I'll give you a fair price for them and pay for shipping. I'm not rich so if I get more than one offer I will buy as I am able on a first come first served. I'm particularly...
