I have two BFR's one with a wide spur (WS) hammer and the other does not. That slim hammer could either use a serious de-horning or replacement because the WS hammer sure spoiled me so I found one on Ebay to replace the slim one. Funny, MR doesn't offer the WS hammer in the customize your gun...

I've been told that the innards of the BFR are similar if not a clone of the Ruger BH. How accurate is that statement? I have a BFR that's in serious need of a wide spur hammer (which I already have) and while I could strip and reassemble a BH easily to the frame I'd like to know if I'm ill...

The issue of Starline focusing on more popular calibers is odd. The recent run of .480 brass sold out in something like 3 days? I have no idea how many pieces are in a typical production run but If a 3 day sellout isn't an indicator of need and popularity I am mystified what other metric would...

I bought a 6 pack of fluorescent UV setting nail polish to paint black gun sights. I have also used it on my fishing bow marked for distances like a bow "rainbow sight" because the trajectory of a fishing arrow is like a lead anchor :-)

If one does that at some of the public ranges down here and you're caught, they may boot you out :) If you have an A/D and it hits the rafters they'll put a plaque next to the hole with the date and your name next to it.

My GF was giving me the grande size (43.5 oz) Folgers containers for some of my odd unused calibers like .38 special, 9mm and .44 special but I needed room and gave away the "dinky" caliber brass. I hate to recycle them but I will... someday :)

Pounds and buckets. A few years ago a local shooter decided to move over from .38 Super to revolver shooting and sold me a 5 gallon bucket of Super brass for not much more than the price of the empty bucket. I added that bucket to the buckets of .45, .40, and .357 mag I have :)
