17 hour drive for this? HELL YA!

I used to use that exact V-max on woodchucks; it was brutal (in my .223 CZ American pencil bbl and set trigger). Surprisingly to me, I hit a coyote at 400 yds TWICE with that bullet (he rolled down the hill and came back up for a second dose); he ran like a jet on afterburners after the second...

    41 Magnum Blackhawk

Many years ago, I sold my pristine OM/3-screw for $900 (it was serial number 900). I then bought this Bisley 41Mag to shoot; and the FA '97 (below it) to look at. I don't hunt anymore; but I enjoy showing the 'black gun kids' at the range, that God has made something called the "41 Magnum". They...

17 hour drive for this? HELL YA!

Many years ago, Varmint Hunter Magazine was a hard copy thing; now it's "electronic". Back in the day, there were always ads to get you into the field....... I assume they still do that. It's probably the best way to connect with other varmint hunters these days (?) https://www.varminter.com/

Actually Mobuck, my original post was related to my Mini-14; I don't own anything based on the AR platform.... J.

Old Model Blackhawk 45 Colt 4 5/8" with Box

It seems our treasures may not be attractive to the next gens. There are a couple of (shooter grade) OM 44 FT's that have been languishing on GB. J

Ruger Single Actions - Collector's Edition

Thanks to Hawkeye28's influence MANY years ago, I have that book (soft cover). Being a "non-reader", mine is in very good condition.... I just checked and found it..!!!! J.

    Volquartsen MKII trigger

I think this was the answer that worked for me ... I think I had to adjust the screw in the 'front' (towards the bbl) that was causing my problem...think it was the pre-travel screw, but not sure. p.s. in Dan's comment, I think he meant to say "find", not "fund". J.

    Stag grips Opinon please

Apologies rugerguy, I should have said: "some of our OTHER real experts".... I know you and Ty are amongst the most knowledgeable and most willing to share your expertise. J.

    Volquartsen MKII trigger

I remember having that problem but don't remember which adjustment fixed it. CALL VQ, they will guide you to the fix. It was simple. J.

    Stag grips Opinon please

Some of our real experts in Stags have not chimed in as yet; makes me think that those grips are definitely 100% REAL. Probably worth more than $500 to Ruger collectors IMHO.....if you get a bunch of PMs/conversation requests, they're REAL :) J.
