My eyes like wood grips but my arthritic hands like rubber.
Not so. This line of grips was thoroughly feild tested. The direction of the hair keeps the gun from rolling up too far in your hand so you're ready for your next shot.Seems when you shoot that hog leg the hair would be pushed backwards from the roll up. Seems they should have been made with the hair going up.
I dont know about you but was always told .If you comb a cats hair backwards you'll get bit.
Have to agree me too.My eyes like wood grips but my arthritic hands like rubber.
I didn't think it was possible at age 52 but I just fell in Love man those are purty
Not Dall or Bighorn. But definitely sheep. The rough set came to off facebook for cheap and Andy Horvath expertly fit them. I really like them on the round butt.Looks like rams horn to me.
But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate a nice set of wood grips on my revolvers especially Herretts on my Sixes.Have to agree me too.
Very Pretty...doncha jes hate that watin'?
My favorite were the carved ivory with rubies I that came with my 1901 Colt Bisley in 41 LC.

On my OM Blackhawk, I favor a pair of smooth moose antler by Executioner (Patrick Grashorn) that match my Yukon Skinner by Randall.
