When returning a pistol for warrantee repair how much of your personal information is reasonable to HAVE to provide them? You are not buying it from them, they do not need to perform a background check before returning it. They are fixing and returning your property. Other than name and address what is reasonable?
What about refusing to return ship to a dealer even after being provided with a copy of the dealers valid FFL? Reasonable?
In this day and age of identify theft should you have to provide them with copies of your DL and all of your DOB and License #?
I have returned pistols to Smith & Wesson, Ruger and Taurus, non have demanded anything but name and address.
No this has nothing to do with Ruger. Ruger has been great when I needed repairs.
