Does anyone know of a bisley grip that will fit the Lipsey 44 special Blackhawk? I would be very interested to see if anyone has done this yet and would like to see the pictures? I would like to fit a blued grip to the frame.

It seems that you could use the old style (non locking) hammer strut in the conversion. Thus not having to do the machine cuts Bowen references.

In the past I swapped a Bisley frame for an XR-3RED, the standard hammer spring and strut were used in the Bisley gripframe.

I believe that Bowen reinstalls the lock for liability reasons only.

That would be great if you can. Any one know or have done it before?

I installed a New Model Super Blackhawk grip frame, albeit slightly modified with it's now round trigger guard, with no trouble whatsoever on to a 50th Anniversary .44 Blackhawk.
