Just ordered one of these. Looks pretty cool, easy to use and great concealment. I am going to try it on my light weight 642, if I like it, will put one on the LCR

Under what name? I learned from it from another forum. I have never seen them. Did they dissapear? I hope I did not long onto a bogus website. Have you used one?

I think they were called Hip Grip. Desantis makes a version as well. I never used them. I suppose it would depend on if the cylinder hangs up on your pants?

They have these on Amazon. I hope I did not get ripped off. De santis is only $25.00. these were $50.00 plus shipping. I emailed the vendor asking a few questions, like. What is the difference? And can I get a refund? I will see if they even respond. thanks for the heads up.

Well I just got a very quick reply. The assured me these were not the same thing, but offered to cancel the order if I desired. I went ahead and I guess we shall see. They also stated that if I was not satisfied with the Product, I can return them. I do not shoot the 642 anywhere near what I shoot the Ruger. This will be for carry only when I want the lighter gun.

Yes the old ones were Barami hip grips.

Supposedly the cops were taping popsicle sticks to their Fitz specials to achieve the same function.
