Just signed up after reading just about all the revolver and holster threads.
I am a recovering S&W addict. My doctor said the best therapy is to buy a Ruger.

I suppose I will get a few. Don't know yet what it will be but most likely a .357 and a little .380.
Thanks to all who post on this forum. Many will read your info and be helped.

Howdy from NE AZ. My brother and another friend said that my gun collection was "a bunch of junk". Yes they are/were Ruger snobs.
My brother has since passed away and I inherited his Rugers. Now have turned into a Ruger junkie myself!

I did go and done do it.
I got a GP100 Super Match in .357 mag. I did not dump my S&W revolver ... yet.

The gun is pretty and it feels very well balanced. Before I saw it yesterday, I thought the laser etching on the slab barrel was going to be very dark and actually an eyesore. Turns out that there is not any (maybe the tiniest amount) actual color in the etching. It really depends on lighting and the angle of reflection. It much less noticeable them I though it would be. Mine has the Novak non-adjustable rear sight. Not certain that it is the best set up, but Novak does make an adjustable rear for this revolver. It looks like a keeper........now to shoot it.
