Did Pre-'64 Model 70 Featherweight .30/06, Monte Carlo Stock come from the factory with recoil pad? I know there were aluminum and plastic butt plates on Featherweights. And steel ones on the standard rifles. The one I'm wondering about was made in 1956. It has an early Leupold 3-9 Vari-X with Leupold Quick Detachable Mounts. Looks to be all original except the recoil pad. Original iron sights, missing front sight hood. Thanks for any info shared.
