knowing the chokes and barrel length would be helpful. Chokes should be on the left side of the barrels flats. Looks to be a 12 ga
By the SN# it was shipped in 1990, so yes barrel length 26 or 28 and what is it choke? That early will not have choke tubes.

Here is a 1987 26" IC/MOD with the box and nice wood and it didn't sell for $1400.
IMO The 12 gauge guns are heavy, solid, thick.
I had a 1989 12ga/ 28" MOD/F that I only used in a blind and most of the time for geese. (3" shells) the weight helped.
Ruger doesn't have parts or support them anymore, which kinda hurts the value. My estimate $1100- $1300 and if you get somebody interested, don't let them get away. The 12ga are slow.
FWIW I still have an early 20ga 26" IC/MOD that I really enjoy opening day of dove on a canal bank. Truly gets out one day a year…
