I acquired a Ruger 75th Anniversary Pistol .22 Rimfire that has an adjustable rear sight. When shooting it I noticed that the "two" very, very, small socket head screws just forward of the slotted elevation screw keep backing out no matter how tight I attempt to turn them. Before I put any loctite on these two socket head screws I would like to know what are their function. Do these two screws make it possible to disassemble the rear sight or do they have something to do with locking the elevation screw.
