It's that time a year again, I like fall but hate winter :) How about some shots of your fall colors. This is probably the last week for good color in Colorado and I didn't make it out there this year so these will be form years past. Feel free to include your own and I would love to see your "means of conveyance" you used to get to the colors :) that means if you have a shot with your truck, jeep, motorcycle, bicycle, horse, whatever please post.

Good shots...

My favorite time of the year...here in the Carolinas region, we are still 2 - 3 weeks away from best color. Some trees are only beginning to turn now. There had been a bit of a drought condition, although getting recent rains. Don't know yet how good color will be this year.

I plan to get out and exercise a new camera...will post a few photos then.

Here's a few from Vermont. Nothing but rain the last several days, but looks good for this weekend, so I'll be out to get some more photos.

Thanks. This is a very small stream in East Haven, Vermont (in the Northeast Kingdom) called Joe's Brook.

My picture taking skills in no way even remotely come close to some of what I have seen here. But here is a little more of my corner of the world.
If you look above the silo on the right, you will see a brown field. That is where I stopped to take the rest of the pics.

If you look over the shortest silo(on the left) you can see the field. The back half is standing corn. I took the first pic right where the corn ends and trees start right above the left silo.

And this is how I got to where I was taking the pics. I think she is looking at me wondering what in the heck I was doing.

Oh, and I had my custom Ruger .44 special with me. Guess being on the Ruger forum I need to add that little tidbit of info.
