Holly grips on the new 32 Maggie

I bought some rough cut grips from a fella and got around to fitting them today. They are American Holly. This is my first time working with this wood and it sands fast! Not a Rowen quality job by a long shot but I am pleased. They make that 5.5" 32 Maggie look nice.

They look as good as Ivory to me - better than SI.

I'd be tempted to install a set of Ruger medallions in them.

Thanks yall.

I have one more set of blanks. Gonna send them in to get roughed out to some Bisley panels for my blued 44 i think.

My favorite part of Holly is its tendency to age over time. Give those grips 6 months or so can revisit the pictures you posted. You should start to see a subtle aging of the color.

Here is the one I kept that had hollies on it. Interesting that you had the same idea for the one I sold you! Mine were made by one of our forum members here as was the holster.
