Stumbled onto one of these locally. Mint gun, perfect box, owners manual and plastic bag.
In the 157-5xxxx range.

$625 seems at the high end but ….. may see if $550 would move his spirit.

Promised I'd quit buying duplicates but the wife IS out of town this week.

I think you should buy it. Then I can brag that I know somebody that has one. I have never seen a later model shorty Service Six. Or I don't remember seeing one.

Wayno, you can use me if you want I have one, s/n 159-089XX, made in 1982.

I think $625 is too high, the $500 to $550 would be reasonable even with the box and such included. That's a later production, the box is pretty generic for that time frame. Now, if it were a real early one with one of that time period boxes (and shipper) and in that condition then I would jump on it at $625.
