In the past I've rarely shot "special" cartridges in a magnum chambered handgun and then only when I did not reload and special ammo was more available than the full size ammo.
That said, I wonder if shooters who own a 475 shoot much .480 and how the two compare? FA offers .480 and .45 Colt cylinders for their .475 and .454 revolvers (MR does not for the .480), and I gotta believe they have reasons beyond having to clean cylinder gunk from using the shorter case when full length ammo is to be used?
