Last week I was half heartedly looking at GB auctions for a Single Six to install my new Martin Hybrid grip frame from Ronnie Wells. The plan was a long barrel…but then I found a 6 1/2" barrel OM. 1964. Starting bid was $225, BIN was $325. There were only 2 pictures from a distance, so I asked for more. It looked good so I bought it for the $325. It has been converted but the conversion parts are in a bag in the yellow shipping box, along with both old and new instructions manuals.

Well, it showed up today and I am pleasantly surprised by how good it actually is. Slight bluing loss at the left tip of the barrel is about all the problems. No turn line either! No Mag cylinder, but I knew that when I bid. So, even though I feel a bit bad about changing the grip frame, well, it can be undone and the price was right.
