Concealing a full-size pistol

The IWB from Diamond D for my SR9E. Pretty comfy, but like any IWB requires larger waist size trousers. Can be adjusted for a more forward cant. Not for on gun lights/lasers, or red dots. That said, I'm not fan of IWB. Seems kinda pointless to me, since the butt is going to be visible anyway unless you wear untucked shirts or a jacket.

Other than on a couple of rare occasions when I was dressed appropriately I've never carried a full sized pistol with a barrel longer than 4". It just isn't worth the hassle to me. I've service sized pistols, compacts & subcompacts/micros. My last main carry was a S&W M&P 2.0 40 Compact with a 4" barrel. It is pretty much the same size as a G19/G23. Recently I swapped to mainly carrying a Ruger Max-9. It is wonderfully easy to conceal AIWB under a T-shirt. The trade off is smaller guns are harder to shoot well than larger ones & carry less ammunition.

How do you like the new improved grips? They look way better functionally. I do really like the way the walnut/pearl look.

I honestly find it to be too much like work to go full sized. I'm not exactly in an Open Carry Friendly area in spite of it being legal. I don't want to need more than a T shirt and shorts. My Max9 with Crimson Trace disappears nicely into a Cargo Pocket. I only keep a full size in a shoulder rig for situations that might go to actual crap or not. My Bond Arms rides in a shoulder rig that I can wear under a button up shirt.

I really like those new grips. To me, they completely transform those little guns. They greatly enhance the ergonomics and the grip angle and I think they just look better.

They made them for the Cyclops. Glad they crossed over. Maybe they can bring back 44 magnum now.

At this point I have purchased a Springfield Armory XDM Elite 10mm 4.5" with a Holosun 507k X2 Asics with Vulcan Reticle in green. I took off the mag well and with a somewhat loser shirt and an undershirt it conceals quite well with a magazine on my opposite side.

My full size rig. Poly80 Frankenglock. 16 in the gun and 3 27rnd reloads. 97rnds and an enhanced service pistol that I can wear under a light jacket.
