I have tried OEM, Hogue, and a nicely finished but poorly fitted two-piece grip set from Thailand. The grip that yielded the least total revolver height was OEM Ruger. I have small hands. My wife's hands are smaller still. Is there a grip for SP101s that would achieve a lower total revolver height than the OEM?

I kinda have the opposite issue, not overly huge hands, but long fingers. This Pachmayr grip is the best thing that I have found for me. I took a file and some sand paper to it and took off quite a bit of material in a couple of spots that just didn't fit me right.

Now they feel like they were molded from my hand. I tried several different grips including the Badgers and these worked best for me...with the small hands issue you may want to try the Hogue finger groove things. I have a set of those too, but I absolutely hated them. They were too "spindly" for me, felt like I could wrap my hands around them twice!

Google Pachmayr G10 and you should be able to find them. I think I paid $50 on ebay or amazon. I don't remember how much I paid for the Hogues, but I'd make you a heck of a deal if you wanted them!

I'm thinking I used to have a set of Uncle Mikes or Butler Creek boot grips that worked well.
