I picked up a shooter grade 10/22SP (Model#1102) finger groove Sporter yesterday and it doesn't have the correct magazine, it came with a clear magazine which is cool, but I would like to have the correct magazine for it.

The rifle was manufactured in 1967 according to the Ruger website and RENE, how do I identify the correct vintage rotary magazine that belongs with this Fingergroove?

Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge and your assistance, I greatly appreciate it!

Not my photos, but I believe these show the correct magazine - it's what I have in mine:

The magazine for a 1967 gun should have a slot head rotor screw as shown in the photo, and have chrome feed lips, not stainless. These are harder to find since they were only supplied with non-prefixed guns.

I have two finger grooves and they , IMHO, are the best stock design Ruger ever made !! Too bad they dropped them !!
